What was I thinking? I mean, really?
How could anyone in their right minds actually believe that something that started like this could actually turn out well?
Without the benefit of a dyepot? Which fortunately I know how to use.
Still.
What was I thinking?

I'm there with ya! I have that same yarn. The skein was clearance priced at $1.99! I'm hoping I'll get used to the colors. I finally started the socks, 2 at once toe up so they will at least end up the same. They are my practice at a new technique. So good to know I'm not alone. I was at Hobby Lobby today looking at the 4 colors they have of this yarn. Another shopper agreed that they are all hideous. Too funny.
Oh dear, that is truly clown barf. And I thought all you ever looked at was sludge! What color will you overdye in?
ANYTHING will do! Grey, sage green, tan, smoke blue, greyed lilac - anything that I have to mix has to tone down the barf factor and get me into sludge country!
You were clearly thinking that the folks who dyed it originally had a trick up their sleeve, and that it would miraculously do something magical when knit.
You were certain nobody could have meant THAT to happen....
I'm eager to see the post dye-rescue shot!
